Psychology
"A Psychological Tipping Point"

This talk explores how relationships are undergoing a powerful shift across generations. While earlier generations experienced connection within limited social circles, today’s digital landscape offers seemingly endless choices—bringing both complexity and new challenges like ghosting and situationships. At the same time, a quieter transformation is unfolding: younger generations are redefining relationships through openness, emotional awareness, and conscious choice. This talk examines whether we are at a tipping point where relationships are evolving toward greater authenticity and emotional compatibility.

Economics
"Machine Learning and the Future of Economics & Econometrics"

Machine learning, particularly through the use of large language models (LLMs), is poised to significantly transform economic research. These technologies enable the identification of complex patterns within large datasets. This includes patterns that may not be captured by traditional econometric models or even considered within existing theoretical frameworks. While machine learning may not always provide causal explanations for observed relationships, it offers powerful predictive capabilities, often reducing reliance on conventional survey-based methods.

The Tipping Point

This Year's Theme

"The Tipping Point" is the moment where gradual change suddenly becomes irreversible—where small, consistent actions accumulate until they trigger a powerful shift. As the theme of this year's TEDx, it represents the edge between what is and what could be.

01

Tipping Points Are Everywhere

In today's world, tipping points are everywhere. A single idea can spark a global movement. One bold decision can redefine a career, a community, or even an entire industry. What often looks like an overnight success is, in reality, the result of unseen persistence, quiet resilience, and incremental progress building beneath the surface.

02

Rethinking Impact

This theme challenges us to rethink impact. It suggests that change doesn't always come from grand gestures, but from moments—subtle, often overlooked—where the right conditions align. It's about recognizing when to act, when to speak up, and when to take that step that feels just beyond comfort.

03

A Call to Action

For students, educators, and innovators alike, "The Tipping Point" is both a question and a call to action: What are the ideas, conversations, or risks that could push us past the threshold? And more importantly, are we ready to be the ones who create that shift?

This TEDx invites you to explore those moments of transformation—where thinking differently leads to acting differently, and acting differently changes everything.
